Privacy
What this site collects, and why.
Blake Builds Brands collects what it needs to reply to you and to look at your business. Analytics runs only if you allow it, this site does not currently run advertising trackers, and your details are not sold or shared for marketing.
What is collected
What you submit, plus basic attribution data.
The site does not create a customer profile or intentionally identify visitors who do not submit a form.
If you submit a form, Blake Builds Brands receives the information you provide along with basic attribution information about how you reached the site. Like most web hosts, Vercel may also process standard technical request information needed to deliver and secure the website.
Separately, and only if you allow it, Google Analytics records how the site is used. That is usage measurement, not a copy of your enquiry, and it does not include what you typed into a form — see Analytics below.
Revenue Review
- Your full name and email address
- A phone number where you can be reached
- Your business name and website address
- Which area you think holds the biggest opportunity
- Anything else you choose to add in the notes field
Contact
- Your name and email address
- Your business name, if you add it
- The message you write
Submitted alongside either form: the page you first landed on, the external site that referred you (if any), and any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content). This tells Blake Builds Brands how you found the site. Blake Builds Brands does not currently send this attribution information to an advertising network.
Why
To reply to you, and nothing else.
What you submit is used to respond to your enquiry, to look at the business you described, and to keep an ordinary business record of the conversation.
It is not used for advertising, not sold, not rented, and not shared with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it goes
The services that handle it.
A small number of providers are involved in running this site, each doing one job:
- Supabase — stores the submission. This is the record Blake Builds Brands works from.
- Resend — sends the notification to Blake Builds Brands and the confirmation to you.
- Vercel — hosts the site and, like any web host, keeps standard server request logs.
- Calendly — only if you choose to open the scheduler after a Revenue Review. Booking a time is handled entirely by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
- Google — only if you allow analytics. Google Tag Manager loads the measurement code and Google Analytics 4 records how the site is used. Google does not receive your form submission.
These providers process information as needed to provide their services to Blake Builds Brands, subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and applicable data-processing agreements.
Analytics
Only loads if you allow it.
Blake Builds Brands uses Google Tag Manager to manage measurement on this site, and Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, and whether they go on to start a Revenue Review or open the scheduler. That is what informs which pages get written and improved.
None of it loads until you allow it. On a first visit there is no Google Tag Manager and no Google Analytics on the page, and no request is made to Google: the site asks first, with a small banner offering “Allow analytics” or “No thanks”. If you choose “No thanks”, the Google code is not loaded and no Google analytics cookies are created by this site.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may set cookies on this domain to recognise a returning device and group activity into visits. Advertising consent stays denied whichever you choose — ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation — because this site does not run advertising, remarketing or advertising audiences.
What is measured, if you allow it
- Pages viewed, and how you arrived — referrer and any campaign tags
- Clicks on the main call to action and on capability links
- That a Revenue Review or contact form was started, submitted, or failed validation, and which opportunity area was selected
- That the scheduler was opened
- The general technical and approximate location information Google Analytics collects by default, such as device type, browser and country
What you type into a form is not sent to Google Analytics. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, business names, notes and messages are deliberately excluded from what this site measures; only fixed values are recorded, such as that a submission was sent or which opportunity area you picked.
Google processes this information as a provider to Blake Builds Brands, subject to Google’s own terms and privacy policies. Google Analytics is not the record of your enquiry — that is Supabase, described above.
You can change your choice at any time with “Analytics settings” in the footer of any page.
In your browser
What is stored on your device.
Three separate things, and they are not all cookies. Browsers keep each of them isolated by website, so other sites cannot normally read them.
- Session storage — belongs to the tab you have open. Keeps a draft of a form you have started, so a reload or a connection error does not lose your answers, and remembers how you arrived so that can be sent with your submission. It is generally removed when the browsing session ends, and stays on your device until you submit.
- Local storage — remembers your analytics choice so you are not asked again on every visit. It holds only the choice itself, a version number and when you made it. No name, email address, phone number or form content is stored with it.
- Google Analytics cookies — only after you allow analytics. Set by Google Analytics on this domain to recognise a returning device and group activity into visits. Decline, and the Google code is not loaded, so this site does not create them.
If you withdraw permission, this site stops sending events to Google Analytics, tells Google that analytics storage is denied, and expires the Google Analytics cookies on this domain that it is able to reach. A browser control here cannot delete information Google has already collected; to ask about that, email Blake Builds Brands or use Google’s own privacy tools.
If you choose to open Calendly, you are leaving the Blake Builds Brands website and Calendly may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its privacy policy.
How long
Kept only as long as it is useful.
Submissions are kept only for as long as reasonably useful for responding to the enquiry, maintaining the business relationship, and keeping ordinary business records. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the conversation.
If you ask for your information to be deleted, Blake Builds Brands will remove it where reasonably possible, except where retention is necessary for legal, security, recordkeeping, or other legitimate business purposes.
Your choices
Ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion.
You can email Blake Builds Brands to ask what information is held about you, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable. Confirmation emails are transactional replies to something you sent; there is no marketing list to unsubscribe from.
Your analytics choice is yours to change: use “Analytics settings” in the footer of any page to allow or turn off analytics whenever you like.
Children
Not directed at children.
This site is aimed at business owners. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from them.
Changes
If this changes, this page is updated.
If Blake Builds Brands materially changes what the site collects or how information is used, this page will be updated to reflect those changes.
